Terrible Two in Review
With not much training Preston and I started this epic ride once again. The pace was quite fast through town, and we felt inclined to go with the flow through some questionable lights through Santa Rosa. As usual there was a big pack of Gun Ho's flying up Trinity; not to be left off the fast train up the valley. I took a more sedate ride, and caught several riders on the backside descent. On the Oakville Grade going over 40+ a tandem in front stacked near the bottom. So I felt inclined to help guide riders around the scene till there was aide on the way. Thankfully there came along another tandem. So I ended up getting a good tow with a pretty good size group, and we started rounding up straglers out in front.

Rode alone out of Calistoga all the way in to Alexander Valley. That was a first before anyone came up from behind. By the time we hit the Geysers it was baking. Ran out of water on the climb and succumbed to filling up at the water trough. Had my Cross bike gears, and cruised up the second climb in the 28 & 32. Felt goo on the back side, and once again caught riders in front. Only to cramp outside of Cloverdale just before Dutcher Creek.
